Source Rationale:  This source is a memo from General Dwight D. Eisenhower on the D-Day.  This source is a preliminary report on the invasion of Normandy.  Also, it says that out of 1250 planes only 30 were destroyed by German fire.  This source fits in with our other sources very well because it tells about the first few hours of the invasion.  This source supports out thesis.  We found this source using the United States National Archives.
